In joint effort of International College and “Gu’s Space”, another off-campus student activity center was built following the college’s collaboration with Zongshen Cooperation and Qilong hot pot.
Students from Madagascar, Nigeria, Vietnam, Yemen, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Indonesia were invited to the brand granting ceremony at “Gu’s Space” on Chaoyang Street, Beibei, along with the faculties of International College.
Gu Jianfei, owner of Gu’s Dumplings, greeted his guests with warm welcome, and introduced them to the highly inclusive “Gu’s Space” based on traditional Chinese dumpling restaurant and integrating multiple functions as a place tailored for reading, handicraft, floral decoration as well as spending quality time. Appetite, nostalgia and Chinese culture came together to form the managing wisdom of Mr. Gu.
Liu Meng, college secretary, granted the brand to “Gu’s Space of Chinese Culture and Creativity”, and expressed high hope for further cooperation concerning students’ social practice and integration with local community.
After the brand granting ceremony, students enjoyed the experience of dumpling making, and brainstormed on activities to be carried out here while feasting on their original works.
